Stylised Shop Front - UE4 Renders

The model looks visually appealing in UE4 with a basic lighting setup, it easily paves way to imagining a wider scene with consistent art style.

The Cuckoos Tavern turned out better than I expected in its concept and model and I feel it portrays the essence of a stylized game asset, however I have regrets that the textures aren’t quite unified in painting technique and in some places are lacking in defining some material elements. I need to practice hand painting textures. 

I’m happy with the efficiency of the model, a lot of instancing and mirroring made it quick to texture all the elements and the effects of reusing texture space aren’t initially noticeable in the textures.

If I could do it again I would do more to define the art style earlier on rather than building on the style I suggested in the concept.
